White Ridge Architecture partnered with Cameron Homes and
JCB to deliver design and planning support for Bamford Place, a transformative
residential scheme on the former Bamford Works factory site in Uttoxeter.
Carrying a proud industrial legacy deeply connected to JCB’s
early manufacturing history, the project reclaims a prominent brownfield site
to establish a vibrant, modern neighbourhood. The scheme—secured through both
Full Planning and Reserved Matters applications—delivers 119 bespoke homes
along with an expansive new town park featuring the re-naturalization of
Picknall Brook.
“Throughout the design and pre-construction process, we have been striving to deliver a scheme of the highest quality, reflecting the site’s prominent position on the edge of the town centre. There will be a comprehensive choice of home designs – from one-bedroom starter homes, to houses for young families, rightsizers and the elderly, through to executive five-bedroom detached residences.”
